I love this time of year. With the seasons changing colors and cool evenings, it truly is a perfect time of year for family portraits.

I as fortunate enough to be able to spend time with and take family portraits for Brian & Jessica Dehart and their wonderful boys, Trey & JC. We found a nice spot around an old barn that provided the perfect setting. I hope they enjoy the photos as much I enjoyed taking them.

Adams Towing Photos & Billboard

I recently took some business photographs for Adams Towing. The photos are going to be used in advertising campaigns. It was nice to see Doug and Kylie again, as well as meeting Doug's dad. They have a great business & my experience has always been very positive when I have needed their services. I also designed the billboards, so keep a look out for them around Burlington.

Allred Residential Services Logo

Here is the logo I have been designing for Allred Residential Services. What I like about this logo is that it communicates what they do in a very simple, easy to understand way. This is important for a logo, because very often it is the first impression a person gets of your business.

By the way, if you need any work done around your house, certainly give them a call. Tony is very professional and does a great job.

Hannah Cheek Bridal

Here are a few images from Hannah Cheeks bridal portrait session. We took the photos at Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. There are literally hundreds of spots to take photographs at Duke Gardens. We had a really good time with Hannah. She is such a nice person and made an absolutely beautiful bride. I will also be posting photos from Wes & Hannah's wedding in a couple of weeks. 

Aaron & Emily

Aaron and Emily had an beautiful wedding at The Harvest House in Ramseur, NC. The setting was perfect, with a two story white farm house surrounded by green rolling hills. It is always fun to photograph couples on their wedding day because of the excitement. This is truly the first day of the rest of their life, and to be able to capture those memories is a special opportunity. Here are a few photos, that for me, told the story of the day.

This past weekend, we spent some time photographing Carter King. Carter has a such fun personality and was a joy to photograph.

Riding through Snow Camp the other evening, I saw this gorgeous sunset and had to stop and take a few quick photos.

Liakos Wedding

Weddings are a great opportunity to meet new people and experience different things. The wedding of Tommy and Tiffany Liakos provided just that. Although I have known Tommy and Tiffany for a couple of years, this was the first time I met Tommy's family. I truly enjoyed getting to know them and appreciated their kindness throughout the day. The wedding was a new experience for us as well because it was the first Greek wedding we have attended. The ceremony, performed by Father George, was ornate and very beautiful. The day concluded with an energetic reception with lots of dancing and great food. I am thankful that Tommy and Tiffany allowed us the opportunity to capture the memories of their special day.

New Year's Eve Wedding

Katie and I had the wonderful opportunity to bring in the New Year photographing the wedding of Allison and Josh Fargis. The ceremony was beautiful and everyone had a great time at the reception. What really stood out to us was how excited both Allison and Josh were. They smiled none stop all day, which made taking the photographs extremely enjoyable.
